Great location with friendly staff. On site restaurant is a real gem, with the pizza being the star of the show. Other dishes are good too, but I do like pizza done properly, and here, you won’t be disappointed. Good value for money.
We had a lakeside pitch which was excellent.
Local amenities are also good, with good value pedalo rental within 5 minutes walk. The supermarket close by is well stocked and mostly good value for money.
The pitches are reasonably sized but care is required to ensure that you don’t creep beyond the defined boundaries. This is policed quite effectively, but could probably be better explained to newcomers in order to avoid any potential misunderstandings. Manoeuvring a caravan to your allocated pitch can be challenging but people are generally very accommodating in moving their inflatables, sun loungers etc in order to help.
All in all, a superb site. Would happily return in the future.
This piece of paradise is inexpensive, clean, and has great views.
I can't wait to return.
Wonderful little campsite, right by the shores of Lake Ledro. The friendly owner was always happy to answer our questions, and when we decided to leave early because of the bad weather he was extremely kind about it. Our pitch was spacious, with nearby electricity and water, and the toilets and showers were always clean with plenty of hot water. The campsite is securer and they give you a code for the gate so you can freely access the path around the water's edge. Another bonus is the restaurant on-site. We ate there on our first night had had a brilliant and affordable meal in a wonderful bustling atmosphere. It's even dog-friendly :)
We were accomodated in mobilhome (S). It was super clean, spacious and few steps from the lake. Camping Al Lago is dog friendly and we appreciated dog beach. It is good starting point for hikes and bike trips. Staff is really friendly and smily. Bonus is that there is very good restaurant and pizzeria inside the camp if you dont feel like cooking. We definitely come back sometime
Stop by for quick lunch. Very tasty, friendly and familier atmosphere. Meal great presentation. Close by the street, you cannot miss it.
Have visited this site several times. The first time it was very busy and the pitches are very close, what better way to get to know people. Our guide ropes were crossing our neighbours but nobody minded, no English reserve just a very …
Great camping directly located on the lake. Big enough camp spaces for fair prices. Sanitary facilities plenty and well maintained. Not the newest, but clean and working properly. Owner of the camping is very friendly and helpful, also all the other staff is customer oriented. The place is very dog friendly as well.
Great space for relaxing, cycling, hiking, supping and more. You can rent bikes, canoes and sups at the camping or bring your own.
The restaurant at the campsite serves excellent food, quick service for really good prices. You can also order pizza's as take away.
Would recommend this camping to anyone and we had a great time, extending our stay here because we didn't want to leave. ;)
Would not recommend for cyclists or people camping without a car. We did not have access to electricity for charging our ebike or mobile phones (edit: it is available, you need to ask). The small tent camping area was next to the road and so rocky it was hard to put tent stakes in the ground. As a cyclist, it seems expensive for what you get.
Edit: Thanks for the info. Maybe you could include that in the check in procedure for cyclists. Revised to three stars from two.
